I personally I have a Radeon HD4350 in my desktop PC. It definitely is used by a lot of people for gaming. It's not really accurate to say that the HD Graphics is 'not for gaming'. The actual entry-level Geforce card sold in stores is not the GT710, which is mobile only, but the GT610, which is actually a rebranded GT520. It's actually slower than a GT 720 with GDDR5 RAM, but faster than the DDR3 variant.
